A 24-year-old driver hit a deer on LB 46 in Staatz-Kautzendorf in the evening. The young man stopped the car and got out to check on the animal. A short time later, the 53-year-old drove past the scene of the accident.

She overlooked the motorcyclist and a head-on collision ensued. Any help came too late for the man. When the rescue arrived at the scene of the accident, they were only able to determine the death of the motorcyclist.
