Experts assume that it is not an “ordinary” attack, but that the attack is related to the woman’s professional activity. In Grozny, the reporter wanted to report on the outcome of a sensational trial, and the lawyer was to accompany her.

Milashina and Nemov were taken to hospital. The lawyer would have stab wounds. According to the information, the journalist has closed craniocerebral trauma, broken fingers, bruises all over her body and occasionally loses consciousness. Her hair was shaved off and she was attacked with Seljonka.
