Animal Use – Sheep “stranded” in the creek: rescued by the fire department

Date:

Animal commitment for the Floriani disciples in Gerlos in the Tyrolean Zillertal on Sunday! A sheep was “stranded” on an island in the Gerlosbach. A firefighter went on a rescue mission using a revolving ladder.

The Floriani disciples were alerted around 7:00 PM. Earlier, a local resident raised the alarm by telephone. He stated that there would be a sheep in the Gerlosbach near a hotel. The volunteer fire brigade came to the scene with the new rotating ladder. The animal apparently sat on an island at the water’s edge and was unable to get up.
