A shark has caused a stir on a beach in the small town of Pensacola, Florida. Only a few feet from the shore of Navarra Beach, he plowed through the water between the swimmers.
While some swimmers tried to get out of the water as quickly as possible, many others stayed in the sea without panicking or turning to look at the shark. Other beachgoers warned swimmers in the water about the predatory fish.
Shark was chasing fish
“Everything happened so fast! A dolphin first walked next to the shark and then just disappeared,” Cristy Cox, who filmed the shark, told the Pensacola News Journal. The predatory fish was probably just hunting for fish.
“Everyone was stunned as he trotted down the beach chasing the school of fish. But we need to understand that this is natural and we are in their home. Sharks are not uncommon on the Florida coast. Only very rarely do people get attacked by the predators.
