The Ente Vasco de la Energía (EVE), which is dependent on the Basque government, has increased the item subsidies to promote the purchase of electric vehicles and charging facilities by a further 8.8 million. Assistance can be requested from Monday 10 July.
As EVE reported this Friday, this additional grant of MOVES III aid, coupled with electric propulsion, amounts to a total amount of €41.7 million.
Within this subsidy program, 22.5 million will remain for the incentive component to promote the purchase of electric vehicles and a total of 19.2 million will remain for the incentive program to support the use of charging infrastructure.
The resolution of the general manager of the Basque energy entity, Iñigo Ansola, was published today and represents the second extension of the program launched two years ago, under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan funded by the European Union .
The planned improvements for the purchase of used vehicles will also take effect on Monday. These are electric and fuel cell vehicles of categories M1, N1, L3e, L4e and L5e and up to twelve months old that must be owned by the manufacturer itself or by a leasing or rental company.
