Serious accident on Friday morning in the Bregenzerwald municipality of Krumbach (Vorarlberg): A 28-year-old driver drove head-on into a house wall.

A 28-year-old driver crashed his car head-on into a house wall in Krumbach on Friday morning after a micro-sleep. According to the police, the driver was injured and taken to the state hospital in Bregenz by the rescue service. The car was a total loss and the house was also heavily damaged.

The driver from Vorderwald was driving on Hittisauer Straße (L205) around 6:45 am when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the wall of a residential building adjacent to the street. According to the police, the driver stated that he was on his way home after the night shift. An alcohol test on the man was negative.
