Police investigators are concerned about a skiing accident in Tyrol’s Zillertal. On Saturday morning, a collision took place in the Kaltenbach ski area between a snowboarder (27) and a previously unknown skier. The 27-year-old was injured and the second person involved simply drove away.
The accident happened shortly after 11 a.m. on the red marked slope 5 in the Kaltenbach ski area. The 27-year-old snowboarder from Germany and the unknown skier fell there. Both winter sports enthusiasts fell as a result. The 27-year-old suffered significant injuries.
Green jacket and orange helmet
While a colleague rushed to the snowboarder’s aid and administered first aid, the skier got up and simply rode away. The injured person was eventually treated by the pister rescue team.
