Mayors of 122 towns in Navarre This Saturday they took part in a concentration in Pamplona in defense of the self-government of the regional community in light of the decision of the Supreme Court that has annulled the transfer of traffic powers.

During the rally, held before the Monument to the FuerosIt has been read the manifesto promoted by the mayors of Ansoain, Alsasua, Burlada, Donamaria, Roncal, Olite, Peralta, Pueyo, Torres del Río, Zirauki and Zizur Mayor, and which was sent to the rest of the mayoral offices before their accession.
The manifesto emphasizes that the Supreme Court ruling “has great political significance”, which is why the mayors reject it, considering it “an attack on the political will of Navarre, its institutions, its jurisdictions and the framework of self-government”. .
