A bang in the lawsuit for sexual abuse and rape against a dentist from Lower Austria: after serious accusations from the ex-wife and stepdaughter, the 64-year-old has now been acquitted “when in doubt”.
For years, a woman and her seven-year-old daughter are said to have experienced true martyrdom. Victims’ allegations ranged from acts of violence and assault to abuse as a “morning ritual”. Since the beginning of June, the successful doctor with practices in Vienna and Lower Austria has had to answer for sexual abuse and rape at the regional court of St. Pölten. His ex-wife and stepdaughter had heavily accused the man. “Everything has sunk and been lied to,” he said right at the start of the hearing.
Rather, it would be an act of revenge by his ex-wife, which culminated in court. The allegations ranged from insults to touching the child’s intimate area to rape. The doctor always protested his innocence.
Conflicting statements
Now the 64-year-old has been acquitted “when in doubt”. On the one hand because there were too many contradictions in the statements of the victims, on the other hand because the ex-wife’s statements also did not come across as credible. The verdict is not final.
