In Gleisdorf in Styria, a young boy suffered severe burns to his back. The 12-year-old was on Saturday evening with a friend (13) using highly flammable brake cleaner.
According to the police, the accident happened in a parking lot. Shortly after 8 p.m., the two would have been working with the liquid, part of which had ended up on the twelve-year-old’s back.
Friend used a lighter
His friend was also wielding a lighter at the same time, authorities said. The 12-year-old’s back caught fire. The boy suffered severe burns. It is not known whether the boys were under surveillance.
The twelve-year-old was flown to the LKH Graz by the rescue helicopter Christophorus 12.
