Acts of violence in the former children’s home Edelhof in the 1990s now occupy the court. Two victims went back to the scene of horror in Lower Austria.
Daniel and Reinhard are the names of two of the three brothers who were taken away from their parents by the city of Vienna about 30 years ago because of neglect. They spent their childhood in the idyllic Edelhof in Rohrbach an der Gölsen (Lower Austria).

They all deny the allegations and consider them time-barred. Kolbitsch is shocked.
Due to the violence, the brothers would never have been able to gain a foothold after their time at the Edelhof: “I was especially shocked that they were punished as small children by having to spend the night in the pigsty and being abused with so-called pig brushes.”
