After rants – Drunken fighter activates Cobra deployment

Date:

Officers with submachine guns and protective vests caused a commotion on Wednesday morning in Moosbrunn in the district of Bruck an der Leitha (Lower Austria). The reason for this was a rabid hunter who even called the Cobra to the spot with his rifle and under the influence of a lot of alcohol.

Heavy artillery was deployed in the quiet town of Moosbrunn on Wednesday morning: a drunken hunter launched a Cobra mission. Equipped with submachine guns and wearing combat gear including protective vests, the officers caused a commotion in the community of about 1,800 in the Bruck an der Leitha district. The reason was equally curious: a hunter in the Bruck an der Leitha neighborhood cycled home from stalking with his rifle slung over his shoulder. For that he must have roasted the Halali well – and was shaky on the way. But instead of a big deer, in the end there was a big fall.

Because the hunter was armed and visibly well fueled with his bike. When a passerby tried to come to his aid, he allegedly chased her away with wild insults. Then he quietly drove on.

No explicit threat
That’s not all, as the shouting and roaring merrily continued. Passers-by then called the police. Officers immediately lined up to go to the drunken hunter’s compound. Colleagues, meanwhile, secured the main street and a single-family home, while the special forces prepared for action in the nearby cemetery. But before that happened, it was all-clear and the Cobra could leave without having accomplished anything. The rabid hunter might have finally got it. On the part of the police, the operation is being dismissed as a “b’open G’shift”.
