Fire alarm Saturday evening in Reutte in Ausserfern, Tyrol: a mobile home parked in a parking lot caught fire. Explosions had been heard beforehand. According to the police, the cause was probably a technical defect. A blessing in disguise: no one was injured.
Shortly after 7:00 p.m., the camper registered to a 61-year-old German suddenly caught fire after two explosions. “The cause of the fire is probably a technical defect in the cooling room,” the police reported.
Witnesses arrived with fire extinguishers
Witnesses tried to fight the fire with fire extinguishers. “The alerted volunteer fire brigades in Breitenwang and Reutte were eventually able to extinguish the fire,” the investigators continued.
Fortunately, there were no injuries to report. The extent of the material damage caused cannot yet be quantified.
