The 35-year-old man with severe burns was transferred by helicopter to the Miguel Servet University Hospital in Zaragoza, and the 36-year-old man with burns with a reserved prognosis to the University Hospital of Navarra.
Two workers were injured with varying degrees of burns in an occupational accident that occurred this afternoon at a factory in the town of Tafalla.
As reported by the Provincial Executive, the SOS Navarra 112 emergency center has received a message from the 1:45 PM of an occupational accident that occurred in a factory parts for automotive and industrial applications from Tafalla.
The event took place when the employees, men aged 35 and 36 respectively, they are splashed with steam and very hot watercausing burns of varying degrees.
Two ambulances were mobilized on the scene, one of them medicalized, and a primary care team from Tafalla, who treated the injured at the scene of the accident. After an initial assessment, the 36-year-old man was transferred to the hospital University Hospital of Navarra with burns of reserved prognosis.
The other injured worker, a 35-year-old man, was transferred by medicalized helicopter to the Major Burn Unit of the Miguel Servet University Hospital of Zaragozawith severe first and second degree burns.
A patrol of the Foral police has also been mobilized and is investigating the causes of the accident.
