The fire brigade of Ludersdorf (Styria) had to deal with an animal mission on Wednesday: two dogs and a cat ended up in the sewage system and got stuck. There was a happy ending: the four-legged friends could be handed over to their owners in good health.
On Wednesday evening, a three-way animal rescue was underway in Ludersdorf: One family’s pets, two dogs and a cat, were trapped in a rainwater sewer.
The summoned firefighters opened some manhole covers and managed to free the animals from their plight and hand them over to their owners unharmed.
“Unfortunately, after the rescue operation, the cat was no longer enthusiastic about a photo together, she had other plans and quietly devoted herself to grooming far away from the action,” said a Ludersdorf fire brigade broadcast.
