One of the pilots was also killed. “It’s a well-known fact that anyone who knows a storm is coming goes to a place of safety,” the spokeswoman added. “Unfortunately, this hangar turned out not to be one.”

According to Polish media reports, the plane was mainly used for parachute jumps. There were three crew members on board at the time of the accident, the spokeswoman for the fire service said.

So passengers were not in the machine. The fire service believes that the unfavorable weather conditions were the cause of the tragic accident.
