Two police officers from Braunau (Upper Austria) were called to the outdoor pool by a colleague from Bavaria because of a bather with suspected Nazi tattoos. But they did not intervene and drove off – now they face disciplinary proceedings.
The incident in the outdoor pool has caused a lot of commotion. The bather in question is said to have tattooed the spell “Blood and Honor” on his body and displayed it openly. Only a few days ago it also came out that the suspect is already known to the authorities.
Interrogations are still taking place
Internal checks are currently taking place, such as interrogations and evaluations of alerts. According to the German colleague, the officials wanted to wait at the entrance to the swimming pool until the lifeguard presented the suspect – but that did not happen. So they retreated again.
