A 24-year-old from Graz in the district of Gösting may have gone on a strange and sick thief’s journey. The man had stolen bikinis and lingerie from private gardens, at least 150 pieces.
At the beginning of June, the police station on Wiener Strasse in Graz received several complaints that swimwear that had been hanging out to dry had been stolen from gardens. The perpetrator is believed to have climbed over fences on private property.
Grazer suffers from a mental illness
A 24-year-old from Graz was the target of similar crimes by officials in the past. On Wednesday morning he was caught stealing – the task force to combat street crime was also deployed. A house search was then carried out at the young man from Graz. The apartment contained about 150 women’s underwear and swimwear. He may have suffered from a mental illness and acted compulsively.
