A man set fire to a bar in Mexico, killing at least 11 people. The Sonora state attorney general said he threw an incendiary bomb on the restaurant in the northwestern city of San Luis Río Colorado on the US border on Saturday night.
Shortly before, he had been kicked out of the restaurant because, according to witnesses, he allegedly abused women there.
He returned and threw a fire bottle at the bar doors. The young man was apparently very drunk.
According to information, the dead were seven men and four women. There are also four injured who are being treated in clinics on both sides of the border. An investigation is underway to identify and arrest the perpetrator.
