As announced by the Vorarlberg police, a 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on Monday evening in the Montafon valley. A suspect has already been arrested.
Not much is known about the incident: according to the police, the attack took place around 6 p.m. Since the act was immediately reported by a neighbor to whom the girl had dragged herself, the alleged perpetrator was arrested during an immediately launched search – it concerns a 30-year-old man.
The suspect is currently being questioned by agents of the National Investigation Department. His identity has not yet been clarified and the results of the forensic examination are still pending, police said. The girl is being cared for by employees of the National Investigation Department who have been specially trained in such cases.
