The disciplinary proceedings against Hallein’s former chief of staff, Erich Angerer, have been ended. He must pay a fine of five months’ salary. According to Krone’s research, this could be the official accused of storing Nazi songs on the service server…
The “Krone” reported several times that the head of the second largest city in the state of Salzburg had been suspended. The disciplinary procedure that has been ongoing since then now appears to be over: on Monday, November 4, the municipality published a finding (equivalent to a verdict) of the disciplinary board. They would not confirm that this was a case that had already been reported several times.
The fact is: The document “Court Mag Erich Angerer, Announcement of Disciplinary Findings” literally states: “The civil servant was imposed a disciplinary penalty of a fine of five months’ salary, excluding child benefits. Any further publication of the contents of the findings was precluded in the overriding interest of the official.”
Porn on duty?
A former head of the city of Hallein was accused of several official violations, including allegedly saving Nazi songs on the service’s server, consuming porn while on duty and ignoring instructions. This officer was reportedly placed on leave and later suspended. There is no confirmation from the community about this.
The now published findings against Erich Angerer are in any case legally binding and these disciplinary proceedings have now been completed.
