“Inhuman” – shock video: mountaineers climb over the dying

Date:

This video stirs horror: an injured mountain bearer lies in the snow as climbers climb around him to reach the top. The most shocking thing was that no one stopped to help him. The high porter died.

These photos have it all! When a Pakistani mountain carrier on K2 in the Karakoram range, the second highest mountain in the world, fell and lay dying in the snow at about 8,200 feet, none of the mountaineers stopped to help him. They climbed past him – because they really want to get to the top…

“He’s Miserably Mad There”
The inexperienced high porter Mohammad Hassan fell on the climb and hung upside down and bare-legged on the rope for more than three quarters of an hour. Austrian mountaineer Wilhelm Steindl told the Standard: “Through the accounts of three different eyewitnesses I can report that this man was still alive while about 50 people climbed past him. There he died miserably.” Not even experienced mountain guides and sherpas on the mountain would have helped.

‘Had to jump over his dead body’
Silvia Azdreeva was also one of the climbers who observed the scenes. She told Explorersweb: “One person died in front of my eyes. He lived for a while and on the way back we had to jump over his body on the edge of the ice we were passing. So save it quickly, you have to wait for days.”

Dead man on the mountain, party afterwards
But there were also record hunters on the mountain. The well-known mountaineer Kristin Harila then celebrated her ascent triumph in the base camp. Steindl was disgusted by the celebrations as a man died on the mountain. He went to Mohammed Hassan’s widow. She told him that she would not receive her husband’s salary. He didn’t finish his job well.
