At around 4:15 p.m., the taxi driver was in the Linzer Strasse area of ​​Vienna-Penzing to take the two men to their desired address. On the way, the men suddenly accused the driver of choosing the wrong route. The victim said that he was immediately attacked with punches and kicks.

Police officers injured in the knee area
The officers of the Linzer Straße and Albert-Schweitzer-Gasse police stations were able to locate the 25-year-old suspect quickly. “During the arrest, the alleged perpetrator violently resisted and injured a police officer in the knee area. Physical force had to be used,” the emergency services reported on Thursday.
