Not bear or wolf – no, a thieving cleaning lady was convicted on Thursday in Hall in Tirol by a wildlife camera (!) The Romanian temporary cleaning lady is said to have stolen cans of alcohol from a company’s warehouse in recent weeks.
In the past two weeks, five-liter bottles of alcoholic beverages have mysteriously disappeared from the storage facilities of the Haller company. Employees then lay in wait, closely observing the warehouse and offices. However, that has not been successful so far.
Wildcamera convicted temp
Then came the brilliant idea on Thursday: a wildlife camera was set up, which was actually intended for the forest to capture animals. And lo and behold: the camera “shoots” a picture of the 42-year-old Romanian temporary cleaner as she packed alcohol canisters again.
“When the suspect and her 21-year-old daughter wanted to leave the company premises in their car around 6:30 p.m., they were stopped by the employees at the barrier and interrogated,” the detectives say. The police were then immediately notified.
Stolen goods locked in car
The officers who were on the scene were finally able to secure the stolen goods in the car that was stolen on Thursday. All in all, the alleged perpetrator would have stolen alcohol for several thousand euros. Appropriate notifications will be made upon completion of the investigation. Also for the daughter!
