On Monday afternoon, agents of the Viennese police received knowledge of a motorist in Meidling. The vehicle inspection showed that the 28-year-old driver had no license plate or driver’s license. However, they had no idea that the suspect was wanted.
At around 1:45 p.m., Meidling City Police Command officers were out on a routine drive when the 28-year-old drove past them in his car. They performed a driver and vehicle check as standard. However, he couldn’t show both.
No valid license plates
It turned out that the 28-year-old did not have a valid driver’s license, that the number plates attached to the vehicle did not belong to the standing vehicle and that the vehicle is therefore not allowed to drive. Both license plates were immediately removed. But that is not everything.
15,000 euros in administrative fines
In addition, the driver received an administrative fine of more than 15,000 euros and a court order to appear against him. Because he could not pay the fines on the spot, he was arrested.

However, he resisted the arrests so much that he injured two police officers. He also injured himself slightly. During the interrogation that followed, he still did not confess. In addition to the advertisement, the 28-year-old now has to take into account several administrative advertisements.
