Date:

A private jet crashed on a highway in Malaysia on Thursday. Ten people were killed, according to local authorities.

As the newspaper “China Press” reported, there were eight victims on board the plane. Another person died when the plane hit the highway and hit a moving car.

Debris hit motorcyclists
The debris thrown around as a result of the collision also hit a motorcyclist, who died at the scene of the accident.

Aircraft suddenly lost altitude
According to eyewitnesses, the plane suddenly fell over the highway before hitting the tarmac, exploded and then burned out, writes South China Morning Post, citing a report in China Press.

Private jet would not have made an emergency call
According to local authorities, the private jet was approaching the airport in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur. Shortly before the crash, air traffic control issued the landing permit, reports the British newspaper “Mirror”. However, the small plane would not have made a distress call.

“I heard a loud explosion,” Mohammed Syahmir Mohammed Hashin, a delivery boy from the area, told the paper. “I hurried to quickly get to the scene of the accident.” There he wanted to help any wounded. “However, all I saw was charred debris and burning body parts,” said the eyewitness.
