On Thursday, a driver under the influence of alcohol in Styria went off the road – the car rolled over several times. The result: the two occupants are injured and the driver threatens to lose his driver’s license.
Shortly before midnight, an 18-year-old car was traveling east on the B 64 from Passail. At the time, an 18-year-old friend of the driver was in the passenger seat. For unknown reasons, the car left the road and overturned.
A witness (32, from the Weiz district) helped the two boys through the trunk of the accident vehicle.
Alcohol test was positive
The notified emergency services supplied the young men from the Weiz district who were injured in the accident. The Red Cross took the two to the LKH Weiz. An alcohol mat test performed on the driver was positive. The driver is now threatened with having his driver’s license revoked. The extent of the damage to the vehicle involved in the accident is currently unknown.
