Terrible mountain accident Thursday afternoon in the Tyrolean Unterland: A 42-year-old holidaymaker from the Netherlands slipped during a mountain trip and fell about 50 meters in front of her husband and children.
The Dutch holiday family was on tour in the Kaiser Mountains on Thursday when the fatal accident happened around 1 p.m. The 42-year-old mother slipped on a carrot and then fell about ten meters over steep forest and meadow terrain and then another 40 meters over a rocky gully.

The woman suffered serious injuries all over her body. Her husband (44) and their two children aged 10 and 11 had to watch the accident.
Helicopter flown to the clinic
The injured were first treated and rescued by the alerted mountain rescue service and then flown by emergency helicopter to the Salzburg State Hospital.
