Terrible accident on Sunday evening in Styria: a 23-year-old came off a municipal road in Schladming with his all-terrain vehicle and fell down a slope. Three occupants of the vehicle suffered fatal injuries, one person was injured to an unknown degree.
The 23-year-old from the Liezen district drove his car around 10:40 p.m. on the municipal road “Janerweg” from Rohrmoos Untertal in the direction of Fastenberg/Planai. Three other men (21, 23 and 25 years old, all from the Liezen district) were in the vehicle.
For reasons that are still unclear, the 23-year-old left the municipal road and fell over a rocky slope in a wooded area. Only the 25-year-old passenger in the back seat was able to get out of the vehicle and contact emergency services. He suffered injuries of an unknown nature.
All other occupants of the vehicle were trapped in the wreckage and suffered fatal injuries.
