There are 16 European countries whose average salaries are lower than the Basque Country, while another 11 countries have higher salaries.
The Basques earn an average of 2,099 euros per month compared to the 2,302 received on average by wage earners from the 27 countries of the European Union, i.e. 8.8% less and a difference of 203 euros.
This is reflected in a group report Adeccodevoted to human resources management, in which he compares the average ordinary gross salary in the European Union with that in the Basque Country, which is in an intermediate position among the 27 EU countries despite the fact that the annual salary is 2434 euros less.
