Chandrayaan-3 lifted off on July 14 on India’s largest and heaviest launcher, marking a milestone.
India’s Chandrayaan-3 space mission has successfully landed at the moon’s south pole, following a complex descent maneuver on the never-before-explored surface.
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) began at 12:14 am (GMT) the complex landing maneuvers that lasted 20 minutes. Thus, the mission has determined the success of the largest Indian bet.
Chandrayaan-3 has taken 40 days to complete its journey since it took off on July 14 on India’s largest and heaviest launcher.
“These historic moments become the eternal consciousness of the life of the nation. This moment is unforgettable, unprecedented, it is the time of a clarion call of a developed India, it is a victory cry for the new India,” he said. Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
India is the fourth country to land on the moon, after the United States, Russia and China.
