‘Am Not Guilty’ – Buffalo Killer Spared Whites

Date:

The 18-year-old man who killed ten people and injured three on Saturday at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York, was apparently acting on racial slurs. This is apparent not only from a manifesto he is said to have posted, but also from the victims of the young man who is now in custody. The video that Peyton G. streamed live on the internet during his attack also shows how the heavily armed man initially aimed at a white person, but then quickly ran on and even said “sorry”.

According to US media, investigators believe in the authenticity of the 180-page manifesto, which not only lists racist and anti-Semitic views but also reveals the killer’s career. As a result, the 18-year-old was probably radicalized via the internet during the corona lockdowns. During his ‘research’, as it is called, he came across the low birth rates in the white population – worldwide. “This will lead to a complete replacement of the European population,” the killer continued.

“I understand my accusation”
The 18-year-old pleaded not guilty in court. When asked by the judge whether he understood the allegations, he replied, “I understand my allegations,” according to The Buffalo News and other media outlets. He was not released on bail. If G. is convicted, he risks a life sentence with no chance of pardon.

It was thanks to the police’s belief that he was arrested alive. Because the 18-year-old was already pointing his gun at himself, he didn’t pull the trigger, but looked at the officers in a front room of the supermarket. A police officer described the crime scene to The Buffalo News newspaper: “It’s like walking into a horror movie, but everything is real.” The newspaper also quoted a supermarket worker as saying he was in the store shortly before the incident and went to the refrigerator. “I was hiding. I was just hiding. I didn’t want to leave the room,” he said.

Governor speaks of terrorism
The New York state governor described the deadly shooting as terrorism. The perpetrator is a right-wing extremist who has committed a “terrorist act”, Hochul said at a press conference on Saturday evening. She sincerely hopes that this person who has just committed a hate crime will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Hochul said the murder weapon was obtained legally, but has been modified.
