A 35-year-old from the Carinthian district of St. Veit sent threats to his ex-partner via a courier service on Wednesday. She immediately contacted the police.
The man, who is also the father of her minor children, threatened the 31-year-old from Klagenfurt with messages. Frightened, she called the police. “During the questioning of the woman, it turned out that the 35-year-old, despite the current gun ban, would have several weapons at home,” a police officer reports. “That is why the house search was carried out by the coordinated criminal investigation department, the EKO Cobra and the SIG troops.”
The officers were able to obtain several weapons and cannabis from the man. “Due to the dangerous threat, the 35-year-old was forbidden to enter and approach,” police said. “Further research will follow.” The man is reported to the Public Prosecution Service in Klagenfurt for several crimes.
