Serious accident in St. Stefan am Walde (Upper Austria): An 18-year-old driver’s license holder ran off the road, crashed into a house entrance and the vehicle was thrown back onto the road by police. Two people were injured in the accident.
On May 15, 2022, around 8 p.m., an 18-year-old from Vorderweißenbach drove his car across the Bohemian Forest from Haslach towards Helfenberg. Then the accident: in a right bend at kilometer 141 he came to the left side of the road, oversteered the car and threw it over a slope at a driveway.
Driver to hospital by helicopter
As a result, the car braked abruptly and flung onto the roadway. The driver, who was injured to an unknown extent, was taken to hospital by rescue helicopter and the 18-year-old passenger, also from Vorderweßenbach, was taken to Rohrbach hospital.
