Political headwind: mega project aims to save the tourism community

Date:

The number of overnight stays in Millstatt (Carinthia) has been declining for years. If Siller Real Estate Immobilien GmbH’s plans go according to plan, this should change in the future. The company wants to build a completely new district, including a hotel. However, the ambitious project is encountering resistance.

The plans of Manfred Siller and his team are ambitious. The entrepreneur would like to realize a multi-million project under the title “Seeresidenz” on the Lechnerschaft estate before entering Millstatt. “There should be a vital seniors’ home, a separate SPA area, a restaurant, apartments, apartments and a hotel,” says Siller. And the entrepreneur would like to spend a lot of money on this. The project is expected to cost around 70 million euros.
