A burglar was caught red-handed in Villach. The young man is also responsible for the fall of a woman with a walker.
The attack took place in the early hours of September 6. A 57-year-old woman, who relies on a walker and was walking with a caregiver on the south bank of the Drau near the Lower Fellach, was pushed to the ground by an unknown person. He ripped her backpack off her walker and fled.
There was no trace of him until the weekend. On September 8 he struck again and broke into Villach. There he was caught red-handed. “The man broke into several cars,” police said. During the interrogation it turned out that the Bosnian citizen was also responsible for the theft of the backpack. The 18-year-old was admitted to the Klagenfurt correctional institution.
