On Monday evening, a previously unknown group of perpetrators tampered with a total of six deciduous trees on the Strabonstrasse playground in Bregenz. The perpetrators peeled off the vital bark from six deciduous trees with a special tool or pointed object.
As a result, three trees were completely destroyed and have to be cut down. The total damage amounts to more than 30,000 euros. The city police and police inspectorate Bregenz are asking possible witnesses to the incident to come forward.
