The 188th Oktoberfest at the Theresienwiese in Munich is in full swing. There are also many celebrities among the hundreds of thousands of visitors. Among them in one of the many festival tents was singer Andreas Gabalier. To the surprise of everyone present, he serenaded – and the entire beer tent roared along.
Numerous celebrities came to the Ratsboxe before 12 noon to kick off the Schottenhamel festival tent. Including the great-grandson of the last Bavarian king, Franz, Duke of Bavaria.
The Austrian singer Andreas Gabalier and the folk music duo Marianne and Michael Hartl and the actresses Michaela May and Jutta Speidel were also in the audience. The TV presenters Florian Silbereisen and Carolin Reiber were also there.
Gabalier celebrates in the “Epizentrum”: “Enormous joy!”
Gabalier enjoyed his first beer in the “Epizentrum” as a guest of Silbereisen. It was a “tremendous joy” to celebrate on site, he said in the interview. The singer had some difficulty understanding the presenter of the German channel “BR24”, because the audience present was already in a good mood. Loud music, the sound of trumpets and the clinking of glasses accompanied what was said.
Shortly afterwards, to everyone’s surprise, he “suddenly stood on the table” and gave a serenade (see video above). The crowd celebrated the Austrian with roars and cheers. According to “Augsburger Allgemeine” he sang his hit “Hulapalu”.
