Now it has happened again: the Graz nightclub “Maximus” is causing a stir with a new advertising poster. This time we are looking for “lady testers”.
From the Minister of Women’s Affairs to the Mayor of Graz – when the Graz brothel “Maximus” put up a poster asking for “girl testers”, there was great excitement. A storm of outrage swept through the country. Now the operator is taking action. “We are hiring!!! Ladies testers” is now on the poster. “Male/female/gender fluid/non-binary” was also added to at least protect themselves in the gender debate.
“Disgusting poster”
In any case, the outrage is once again great: “Such a disgusting poster should not be visible in the human rights city of Graz,” complains deputy mayor Judith Schwentner (Greens). Club chairman Sandra Krautwaschl calls for tightening the prostitution law.
“Since 2015, the Green demand for a new prostitution law has been insufficient in the state parliament. I hope that the ÖVP will finally wake up after these drastic abuses.”
Closure required
Both Green politicians are calling for the brothel operator’s license to be revoked. “In cases of gross immorality, this and the closure of the company should be possible.” But the fact is that the operator has not been punished so far, but has received some pretty good publicity.
