Last year, more than three million tourists came to Carinthia, more than 75 percent of whom traveled by car. Even with the full capacity of the five usual seats, that is more than 600,000 additional cars on the roads in Carinthia. By comparison, there were 371,965 cars registered in our state last year. Tourism almost triples, especially in summer. To keep up with the times and make a positive contribution, the tourism sector is looking for innovative solutions.
