Euskotren and Bizkaibus employees have asked the institutions for more resources to stop the attacks they have suffered in recent months.
Monitoring the 24 hour strike called in Bizkaibus And Euskotren is ‘very broad’. This is evident from data from the union DE Ain Euskotren has exceeded 80% monitoring, and in Bizkaibus it was almost total: 95%.
The first mass mobilization took place in Bilbao, where workers demonstrated from the EITB headquarters to the Foral Palace of Bizkaia. The employees of Euskotren and Bizkaibus have asked the institutions for more resources stop attacks who have suffered in recent months.
In Donostia, numerous workers also gathered at Plaza Easo at 11:30 am, where they also demanded more resources to put an end to the physical and verbal attacks that are increasing and provide all guarantees to both staff and users.
More than 2,500 Bizkaibus and Euskotren (train, tram, cable car…) workers are being called to support the strike in the BAC.
