Large-scale operation for the emergency services in the Styrian capital Graz. A single-family home in the Sint-Pieters district burned down and the column of smoke could be seen throughout the city.
The roof structure of a single-family home caught fire during construction work on Neufeldweg in Sankt Peter (behind a garden center) on Tuesday around 4:45 p.m. Several fire brigades, police and rescue services have been deployed to the residential area.
Eyewitnesses were the two 13-year-old Neo Walder and Sirko Wolfsgruber, who noticed the high column of smoke on their bicycles and scooters in the Murpark shopping center. “We immediately went to see what was happening.”
According to the current state of the investigation, no one was injured.
