The 16-year-old driver hit the woman and fled. The landlady was seriously injured in hospital for six weeks, but was now able to leave. She is in rehabilitation.

The owner of the white SUV was quickly identified: it was the boy’s mother. The two young people, who did not have a driver’s license, were then quickly arrested in Croatia and extradited to Austria.
