Euskaraz irakurri: ELAk eta LABek greba deitu dute Bizkaiko erresidentzietan maiatzaren 30ean
The trade unions ELA and LAB have declared a strike day in the residences of Bizkaia on May 30.
As ELA denounced in a note sent to the media, “workers have already spent 515 days without a contract, with unaffordable workloads and in conditions of exploitation due to lack of staff due to insufficient proportions to meet the dependency needs of the Workers and the Inhabitants.”
For example, the largest trade union center in Euskadi has encouraged all female workers to join the mobilization to demand a change in the model, which “advances the improvement of attention and care, responding to improvements in working conditions such a goal, and that wager once and for all to put aside the advantage to the companies in favor of employees, relatives and residents”.
LAB for its part has registered the work stoppage to demand equality with civil servants and more staff.
“After the last three days of strikes in the sector, the situation has not improved. LAB’s inquiry into the Bizkaia Provincial Council has not received a response,” the union said.
