A young man (22) in Berndorf, Baden district, did not only deal with drugs. The suspect, together with his 17-year-old accomplice, broke into cell phone stores and the like.
When police arrested a 22-year-old at the train station in Berndorf, Baden district, they thought they had caught another small-time dealer. Because when the young man was checked at 11 a.m., he had twelve grams of cannabis and a scale in his pocket. The criminals managed to track down four ‘customers’ – including a 17-year-old, from whose apartment narcotics and a deceptively real soft gun were seized.
In the course of the investigation, the duo’s entire criminal record came to light: burglaries at a restaurant in Pottenstein and a store in Bernstein, during which mobile phones, tablets, watches and cash were stolen, one and four attempted car burglaries , and one shoplifting involving four knives – as well as unauthorized starting of a vehicle. The 17-year-old and his accomplice (22) have partially confessed to the charges and are in prison in Wiener Neustadt.
The police have caught a ‘drug van’ three times
Change of location to Krems – there officers from the Rastenfeld post pulled a conspicuous driver out of traffic around 9:15 am. The 20-year-old was declared by the doctor as having a substance abuse disorder. His passenger (19) took over the wheel and followed the patrol to the police. He is also high on drugs: driver’s license confiscated!
The car in question entered another police checkpoint around 1 p.m. This time a 21-year-old – also drunk – was behind the wheel. All three men lost their driver’s license.
