There was no ruling at the regional court in Feldkirch on Thursday. A forensic medical report should provide information as to whether there were knockout falls. If convicted, the suspect faces up to ten years in prison.
Both the victim and suspect were residents of the Kaplan Bonetti house in Dornbirn. The acquaintance would have been informal. We knew each other and spent some time together, chatting and smoking the occasional joint. At least that is what the suspect claims in court.
The man denies that he sexually abused the woman in his room at the end of January. “The matter was amicable. “Besides, the actual act didn’t even happen because she was throwing up.” He therefore pleads not guilty.
About the facts of the case: The suspect and the later victim meet in the evening in the tea kitchen of the house. She drinks beer and schnapps, he drinks nothing. When the tea kitchen closes at 10 p.m., they both go to their rooms. But since the night is still young and the woman is not tired, she visits the friend in his room.
Dizziness and nausea
They smoke a joint and talk – even about casual sex – which the table dancer refuses. Shortly afterwards, when the woman’s health suddenly became poor and she complained of dizziness and nausea and squatted on the ground, the suspect took the opportunity and raped the disabled victim. Only when the tormented woman has to vomit does the man let her go.
Liquid ecstasy was eventually found in the victim’s blood at the hospital. A forensic medical report should now provide information on whether it was a knockout drop and whether the victim was defenseless. The trial was postponed.
