The Pfunds fire brigade in the Tyrolean Oberland carried out an unusual operation on Friday afternoon. An electric bicycle caught fire in front of a shop. The fire brigade had to respond and even evacuate the supermarket for a short time.
The alarm was raised around 3:30 p.m. E-bike on fire – that was the message for the Florianijünger from Pfunds. The battery of an electric bicycle parked there caught fire in front of a supermarket.
The store was ventilated with a fan
The fire brigade was able to quickly extinguish the fire, but the store had to be evacuated due to the heavy smoke. Only after the rooms had been ventilated with a fan could the all-clear be given. No people were injured. The bicycle is probably a case of bulky waste.
