A terrible death drama took place on Monday morning in the quiet municipality of Naarn im Machland (Upper Austria). American Staffordshire Terrier “Elmo” attacked a jogger and literally mauled her, killing her. The dog’s owner was also injured. “We are now voluntarily euthanizing the dog,” the dog owner’s wife told “Krone”.
It is difficult to imagine what happened in the small settlement in Naarn in the morning hours. A jogger – said to be between 20 and 40 years old and not yet identified – was attacked by the American Staffordshire Terrier “Elmo” and literally mauled – she had no chance of survival.
