Small safety measures

For example, attacks on suppliers are mentioned here, which also have consequences for the companies they supply. So-called insider threats, i.e. criminal actions by people who work in the company themselves, have also increased by about 200 percent.
Insurance and hotline
The increase in cybercrime in Vienna is generally lower than in Austria as a whole. An increase of 201 percent was registered here. However, it was emphasized that the attacks in Vienna were already at a high level. Moreover, attacks targeting the industry, which are also on the rise, are also affecting other states.
The chamber offers assistance in Vienna, among other things, with its own insurance – and with a hotline open 24 hours a day. Contacts are also being made with IT security companies.
