As if a hysterectomy wasn’t stressful enough for a woman, Barbara Loibl (46) also suffered complications. With the terrible consequences: the bladder and intestines barely worked anymore. She tells Krone+ in very open words what the doctors tried at the time and how the Lower Austrian lives today.
Severe menstrual pain and prolonged and frequent periods due to endometriosis (one of the most common gynecological diseases) were the reason why Barbara Loibl from Stockerau (Lower Austria) was advised a hysterectomy. After several failed attempts at therapy, there was finally hope for the suffering patient.
